Dog‑Walking — Tāmaki Makaurau, Inner West

Fig. I · Specimen of the Daily Route

You will always know which street she's on.

Every walk is plotted on the map before the lead is clipped on. Look up today's route, find the stretch nearest your gate, and book your dog onto a walk that is already passing through the neighbourhood.

About the Walker

Pl. IV — field naturalist

Line silhouette portrait of [NAME]
[NAME], Sole Proprietor

Homo perambulans canis — "she who walks the dogs"

[NAME] has walked the streets between Point Chevalier and Grey Lynn for long enough to know which gate sticks on which fence, and which corner needs a wide berth on rubbish day. Every dog is met beforehand, walked at a pace that suits their legs and their nerves, and never mixed into a group that doesn't suit their temperament.

No vans, no rosters, no substitutes — one walker, six suburbs, covered entirely on foot.
